I read Roald Dahl's "The Enormous Crocodile" to the Book Buzz kids and they stayed with me through the whole long story! It helped that Rosie held a copy of the book up while I read from another copy, otherwise I would have had all those kids in my lap looking at the pictures!

Roald Dahl can do no wrong. I just heard a story about the new "Fantastic Mr. Fox" movie, and they played an interview excerpt of him. I realized that I had never actually heard his voice. (Which, naturally, was DIVINE, and I don't use that word lightly...)
Another GREAT way to hear his voice is hear him reading his books! We listened to FMF in the car and all three of my kids (including the sometimes surly teen) loved it and Dahl's reading.
