Jennifer and I were discussing listservs on the desk the other day and I was reminded of this post . I don't subscribe to any listservs and I must admit, this does not make me want to run out and subscribe! If you are in the mood for a good rant or good laugh, check it out.

Hah! This sums up EXACTLY how I feel about listservs. I should probably still feel more attention to them, though, because sometimes there's real useful gems hidden in amongst all the silliness.
It's too bad that the "gems" are not flagged. You have to dig through a lot of junk.
pretty funny. I also get really annoyed with lazy librarians who should just do some research, already before posting. However, I do still like PUBYAC mostly for the programming ideas and the occasional stumper response.
