I need this book! I did manage to download one book on one device. Hallelujah!
I also found Sanborn maps cumbersome to use, I had to zoom in and try and make out which map to scroll to. I did manage to find my Mom's house which looks remarkably the same and the library which doesn't! I also like Novelist for finding similiar books and also those pesky lexile levels. When going through the books I've chosen for the 3rd grade list I used our own catalog to read the reviews. As an exercise for myself I looked up magazine articles that were cited in a biography I printed out for a young patron. I found them using Proquest but they were just abstracts and not full text. Too long ago for poor Dominque Dawes. It would be fun to give kids a database challenge this summer using Lands & People or World Book. I couldn't find a really good trivia game on either site though.
